Indications/Uses
Prevention & treatment of candidal infections of the oral cavity & oesophagus, for intestinal candidiasis & for protection against candidal overgrowth during antimicrobial or corticosteroid therapy.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult, childn & infant 100,000 u qds. Newborn Prophylaxis 100,000 u once daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: Hold or swish throughout the mouth for some time before swallowing.
Special Precautions
Lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Large doses have occasionally produced diarrhea, GI distress, nausea & vomiting.

Indication: Treatment of oral candidiasis
Maximum daily dose: Infants and children 6 months and older: 400,000 units
Adults: 2.4 million units
Maximum supply: 2 weeks
Minimum age: 6 months
