Per tab Dexchlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg, pseudoephedrine HCl 60 mg. Per 5 mL syr Dexchlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg, pseudoephedrine HCl 30 mg
Indications/Uses
Nasal & resp congestion, common cold, acute sinusitis & allergic rhinitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 1 tab tds or 1 tsp 6 hrly. Childn 6-12 yr ½ tab tds or ½ tsp 6 hrly.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Patients w/ severe HTN, severe coronary artery disease, receiving MAOI therapy. Not for the treatment of lower resp tract symptoms.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ HTN, hyperthyroidism, DM, CV disease, narrow angle glaucoma, stenosing peptic ulcer, pyloroduodenal obstruction, symptomatic prostatic hypertrophy & bladder neck obstruction. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery.
Adverse Reactions
Urticaria, drug rash, anaphylactic shock, photosensitivity, excessive perspiration, chills, dryness of mouth, nose & throat. Headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting.

MAOIs, alcohol, other CNS depressants.
