Indications/Uses
Postcoital contraceptive. Emergency contraceptive prep that can prevent contraception if it is taken w/in 72 hr following unprotected intercourse.

Dosage/Direction for Use
1 tab w/in 72 hr following intercourse & another 1 tab 12 hr later. For higher efficacy, take 1st tab w/in 48 hr after intercourse.

Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Vag bleeding of unknown origin, hepatic & biliary disease, history of gestational jaundice, breast, ovarian or uterine carcinoma. Pregnancy.

Special Precautions
Asthma, heart failure, HTN, migraine, epilepsy, renal impairment, DM, hyperlipidaemia, depression & in case of existing or former thrombophlebitis, thromboembolic diseases or stroke. Not for routine contraceptive use.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, vomiting, bleeding disturbances.
Drug Interactions
May reduce contraceptive effect w/ ampicillin, rifampicin, chloramphenicol, neomycin, sulphonamides, tetracyclines, barbiturates & phenylbutazone.
