Side Effects
Headache is the most common reaction. However, they are usually mild and occur after the first few applications. If headache persists, the dose should be reduced, failing which the treatment should be withdrawn. It may also cause fainting or dizziness particularly in the elderly.
Incontinence is also a possible adverse effect, although this has not been reported and should be completely reversible on withdrawal of the drug.
