Description
100 g gel contains: Aescin 1g; Diethylamine salicylate 5g.
Action
Reparil Gel N is a special formulation in an alcohol base with a threefold action: reduce fluid accumulation, anti-swelling and pain-relieving.
Indications/Uses
In cases of contusions, crush injuries, sprains, bruises.
Painful conditions of the vertebral column.
Fluid accumulation due to injury.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Unless otherwise directed, spread a thin layer of the gel onto the skin of the affected area once or more frequently. It is not necessary to rub the gel into the skin but this may be done if desired.
Contraindications
Reparil Gel N should not be applied to broken skin, mucous membrane or skin areas exposed to radiotherapy.
Warnings
Reparil Gel N should not come into contact with eyes.
Reparil Gel N contains diethylamine salicylate and when applied or rub onto the skin, can be absorbed through the skin into the blood. For patients taking warfarin, excessive application onto the skin for muscle or joints pains may increase the chances of bleeding.
For external use only.
If conditions worsens, or if symptoms persists for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days, discontinue use of this product and consult a doctor.
Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin.
Do not bandage tightly.
The medicine should no longer be used after expiry date.
Side Effects
Skin irritation, redness or swelling, burning or stinging sensation. Adverse reaction is rare.
Drug Interactions
For patients taking warfarin, excessive application onto the skin for muscle or joint pains may increase the chances of bleeding.
