Indications/Uses
Suitable for childn & people w/ sensitive skin. May also be used in conjunction w/ other adjunctive treatments to improve overall results. Relieve low grade inflammatory changes eg, dry, itching, flaking, peeling & irritated skin. Reduces pain, redness & heat, soothes the exposed skin areas for more severe inflammatory changes. Radiation dermatitis, toxic & compromised skin, superficial wounds & burns including those resulting from radiation therapy or 1st & 2nd degree burns. Superficial wounds, burns & areas where skin integrity has been compromised.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply a very thin layer directly to the clean & dry affected area & allow the gel to dry for 5-6 min. Apply once daily or bd. Recommended min duration of treatment: Post radiation therapy: 60-90 days (24/7) or until no further improvement seen. Chronic radiation dermatitis: Continue use until no further improvement seen.
Special Precautions
Avoid contact w/ the eyes. Do not apply over topical medications unless advised by the physician. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Not suitable for highly exudative, tunneling wounds or 3rd degree burns. Consult physician should radiation dermatitis show signs of infection or failure to heal after 30 days of initial product application.
