POM (Prescription Only Medicine)
- Sold or supplied to public on prescription only.
P (Pharmacy Only Medicine, 1st Schedule)
- Sold from any pharmacy by or under the supervision of a pharmacist.
P+, POM (Pharmacy Only Medicine, 2nd Schedule)
- Sold from any pharmacy by or under the supervision of a pharmacist provided :
a)The label shows a max daily dose not exceeding that specified in the 5th column of the Schedule;
b)The quantity sold does not exceed the max amount specified in that column; and
c)The label states the use as specified in the 6th column of the Schedule.
G (General Sales List)
- Sold or supplied to the public without restriction.

– Low risk
B (Class B Medical Device)
– Low-moderate Risk
C (Class C Medical Device)
– Moderate- high Risk
