• Broad spectrum coverage of aerobic gram-negative pathogens including:
– Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (KPC and OXA-48),
– P. aeruginosa (including many ceftazidime-resistant strains), and
– ESBL-producing Enterobacteriaceae1
• Indicated in adults, infants (aged 3 months and older), children, and adolescents for the treatment of:
– Complicated intra-abdominal infection (cIAI)
– Complicated urinary tract infection (cUTI), including pyelonephritis
– Hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP), including ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP)1
• Also indicated for the treatment of adult patients with bacteraemia that occurs in association with, or is suspected to be associated with cIAI, cUTI, or HAP/VAP.1
• Recommended by the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) guidance as a preferred treatment option for carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) infections.2
• A safety and tolerability profile consistent with both cephalosporins and carbapenems.3-6
