Indications/Uses
Herpes simplex infections, varicella infections, herpes zoster infections.
Dosage/Direction for Use
200 mg 5 times or every 4 hr omitting the night dose for 5 days.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: May be taken w/ meals to reduce GI discomfort.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Renal impairment.
Adverse Reactions
Skin rash, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, & abdominal pains.
