Indications/Uses
Infections caused by ampicillin-susceptible strains.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Cap/inj 250-500 mg. Dry syr Adult 15 mL. Childn 5 mL. To be taken 6 hrly.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1 hr before or 2 hr after meals.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Renal impairment. Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
Adverse Reactions
GI disturbances, allergic reactions, skin rashes.
Drug Interactions
Probenecid prolongs blood levels.
