Tramadol HCl
Indications/Uses
Moderate to severe acute or chronic pain.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & adolescent >14 yr 1 cap. If pain relief is unsatisfactory, further doses may be taken after 30-60 min. Max: 8 cap daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Acute intoxication w/ alcohol, hypnotics, analgesics or CNS-acting drugs.
Special Precautions
May increase reactivity to opioids & convulsions. Dependence on long-term treatment. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Sweating, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth & fatigue.
