Beclomethasone dipropionate
Indications/Uses
Seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis; prevention of recurrence of nasal polyps after surgical removal.
Dosage/Direction for Use
100 mcg/dose Adult & childn >6 yr 1-2 sprays once daily or 1 spray bid in both nostrils. Max: 4 sprays/day. 50 mcg/dose Adult & childn >6 yr 1-2 sprays bid in both nostrils. Max: 8 sprays/day.
Special Precautions
Adverse Reactions
Nasal irritation, sneezing, bloody nasal discharge, dryness & irritation of the throat, mucosal ulcer, nasal septal perforation, unpleasant taste & smell.
Drug Interactions
Synergistically w/ systemic or orally inhaled corticosteroids.
