Fluid extract of Ruscus aculeatus 150 mg, hesperidin methyl chalcone 150 mg, vit C 100 mg.
Description
Cyclo 3 Fort capsules has a composition of: Dry extract of ruscus titrated in sterolic heterosides 150 mg, hesperidin methyl chalcone 150 mg, ascorbic acid 100 mg.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Talc, macrogol 6000, anhydrous colloidal silica, magnesium stearate. Composition of the capsule shell: Quinoline yellow (E104), sunset yellow (E110), yellow orange S, titanium dioxide (E171), gelatin.
Action
Pharmacotherapeutic Group: Vascular protective agent. (C: cardiovascular system).
Indications/Uses
This drug is a venotonic agent (it increases venous tonicity). Treatment of venous circulatory disorders (heavy legs, pain in the legs, restless leg syndrome).
Treatment of bleeding (apart from menstrual bleeding), during oral contraceptive therapy with low dose contraceptive pills or bleeding associated with an IUD (intra-uterine device).
Indicated for treatment of functional symptoms associated with acute attack of piles.
Special warnings: In case of diarrhoea treatment it should be discontinued and refer to the physician.
If the discomfort and/or vascular fragility has not improved after two weeks of treatment, consult the physician.
If symptoms of haemorrhoidal disease persist after a few days of treatment, it is essential to consult the physician.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Usual dosage is 2 to 3 capsules per day.
For treatment of acute attack of piles: 4 or 5 capsules per day.
Capsules should be taken with a glass of water.
In all cases follow the physician's prescription.
Contraindications
In case of known allergy at any constituent of the capsule.
Special Precautions
If nausea or gastric distress develops, it is advisable to take this medication at the start of the meals.
This medication is fully effective when it is associated with a good healthy lifestyle.
Avoid exposure to sun, heat, prolonged standing, obesity.
Walking and eventually wearing elastic stockings improve vascular circulation.
Because this product contains vitamin C, avoid its administration after 4 pm. In case of doubt, ask the physician or pharmacist.
Use In Pregnancy & Lactation
Inform the physician if pregnant or breast-feeding.
Adverse Reactions
As with any active medication, this medication can, in some persons, produce more or less uncomfortable side effects.
Gastrointestinal disturbances: Sometimes severe diarrhoea improving rapidly with discontinuation of treatment, nausea, gastralgia.
If patient experiences an adverse event, whether or not described in this section, do not hesitate to inform the physician or pharmacist.
Drug Interactions
No drug interaction is known or has been detected.
To avoid possible drug interactions, systematically inform the physician or pharmacist of any other on-going treatment.
Storage
Do not store above 30°C.
