Contents
Per 3 mL Dexamethasone Na phosphate (equiv to dexamethasone phosphate 1 mg), neomycin sulfate 5 mg (equiv to base 3.25 mg)
Indications/Uses
Anti-inflammatory antiseptic for the eyes.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1-2 drops 3-6 times daily.
Contraindications
Acute, untreated purulent bacteria, viral or fungal infection of the eye, acute superficial herpes simplex keratitis, vaccinia, varicella & most viral diseases of the cornea & conjunctiva, tuberculous eye infections.
Special Precautions
Prolonged use, posterior subcapsular cataract, glaucoma w/ optic nerve damage, perforation causing thinning of cornea, secondary infections, overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Corneal ulcers, raised IOP, visual defects.
