Crystalline glucosamine sulfate

Indications/Uses

Adjunctive treatment of OA.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult 1 sachet dissolved in water taken once daily for 6 wk or as directed.

Administration

Should be taken with food.

Contraindications

Patients w/ phenylketonuria syndrome.

Special Precautions

Diabetes. Monitor blood sugar in long-term use. Monitor INR levels when taken w/ anticoagulant eg, warfarin. May induce asthma exacerbations.

Adverse Reactions

Upset stomach, drowsiness, insomnia, headache, skin reactions, sun sensitivity & nail toughening.
