Indications/Uses
Mobilization of hematopoietic stem cells into peripheral blood. Acceleration of the increase in the neutrophil count in hematopoietic stem cells transplantation. Cancer chemotherapy-induced neutropenia. Neutropenia in myelodysplastic syndrome. Neutropenia in aplastic anemia. Congenital or idiopathic neutropenia. Neutropenia that precludes treatment for HIV infection. Neutropenia in immunosuppressive therapy (in kidney transplantation).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Mobilization of hematopoietic stem cells into peripheral blood 5 mcg/kg SC daily or divided dose bid. Acceleration of the increase in the neutrophil count in hematopoietic stem cells transplantation 5 mcg/kg IV infusion daily. Cancer chemotherapy-induced neutropenia 2 mcg/kg SC daily or 5 mcg/kg IV infusion daily. Neutropenia in myelodysplastic syndrome 5 mcg/kg IV daily. Neutropenia in aplastic anemiaAdult 5 mcg/kg IV daily. Childn 5 mcg/kg SC or IV daily. Congenital or idiopathic neutropenia 2 mcg/kg SC or IV daily. Neutropenia that precludes treatment for HIV infection 5 mcg/kg IV daily. Neutropenia in immunosuppressive therapy (in kidney transplantation) 2 mcg/kg SC daily.
Special Precautions
Serious liver, renal or cardiopulmonary dysfunction. Hypersensitivity. Pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
Bone pain, back pain, chest pain, headache, fever.
