Indications/Uses
Dosage/Direction for Use
IM Primary vaccination Adult ≥19 yr Single dose of Havrix 1440 Adult (1 mL). Childn 1-18 yr Single dose of Havrix 720 Junior (0.5 mL). Booster vaccination given at any time between 6 mth to 5 yr, but preferably between 6 & 12 mth after primary dose.
Special Precautions
Do not administer intravascularly nor in the gluteal region. Acute severe febrile illness (postpone vaccination). Patients on haemodialysis or w/ impaired immune system. Contains traces of neomycin. Pregnancy, lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Loss of appetite, irritability, headache, drowsiness, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, inj site reactions, fatigue, swelling, malaise, fever (≥37.5°C).
