Description
Hirudoid gel contains mucopolysaccharide polysulfate, also known as organo-heparinoid "Luitpold" 0.3 g and a gel base to make up to 100 g.
Hirudoid gel is easily applied, cleaned and well tolerated.
Action
Hirudoid penetrates the skin and acts uniformly and persistently on diseased tissue. It counteracts inflammation, promotes absorption of edema, inhibits formation and further growth of thrombi and improves local blood flow. Hirudoid relieves pain and tissue tension, diminishes edema and hematomas. The feeling of heaviness in the legs soon disappears.
Hirudoid gel has a pleasant, cooling effect.
Indications/Uses
Treatment of varicose veins, edema, phlebitis and venous congestion, hematomas, contusions and bruises.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply a thin layer of Hirudoid several times daily.
