Vulvovag candidosis, pityriasis versicolor, dermatomycosis, fungal keratitis, oral candidosis, onychomycosis, systemic mycoses.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Vulvovag candidosis 2 cap bid for 1 day or 2 cap once daily for 3 days. Pityriasis versicolor 2 cap once daily for 7 days. Tinea corporis, tinea cruris 2 cap daily for 1 wk or 1 cap daily for 2 wk. Tinea pedis, tinea manus 2 cap bid for 1 wk or 1 cap daily for 4 wk. Oral candidosis 1 cap daily for 15 days. Fungal keratitis 2 cap once daily for 3 wk. Onychomycosis Pulse treatment: 2 cap bid for 1 wk/mth for 3-4 mth. Continuous treatment: 2 cap daily for 3 mth. Aspergillosis 2 cap daily for 2-5 mth. Increase dose to 2 cap bid in disseminated or invasive cases. Candidosis 1-2 cap daily for 3 wk-7 mth. Non-meningeal cryptococcosis 2 cap daily for 2 mth-1 yr. Cryptococcal meningitis 2 cap bid for 2 mth-1 yr. Maintenance: (meningeal cases) 2 cap once daily. Histoplasmosis 2 cap once-bid for 8 mth. Sporotrichosis 1 cap daily for 3 mth. Paracoccidioidomycosis 1 cap daily for 6 mth. Chromomycosis 1-2 cap daily for 6 mth. Blastomycosis 1 cap daily to 2 cap bid for 6 mth.
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after a full meal.
Hypersensitivity, pregnancy.
Special Precautions
Liver disease, lactation, childn.
Adverse Reactions
GI complaints, nausea, headache, hepatitis, menstrual disorders, dizziness & allergic reactions.
Drug Interactions
Rifampicin, phenytoin, cyclosporine, terfenadine, warfarin.
