Fenofibrate
Indications/Uses
Hypercholesterolaemia (type IIa), hypertriglyceridaemia (type IV), mixed hyperlipidaemia (type IIb & III).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 300 mg daily. Childn >10 yr Max: 5 mg/kg.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Childn, serious hepatic & renal insufficiency.
Adverse Reactions
Rarely, rise in transaminases, allergic skin reactions, GI disturbances.
Drug Interactions
Potentiates effects of oral anticoagulants.

C10AB05 - fenofibrate ; Belongs to the class of fibrates. Used in the treatment of hyperlipidemia.
