Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult Peripheral neuropathies Oral 1 tab tid. Inj 1 amp IM or IV 3 times/wk. Megaloblastic anemia due to vit B12 deficiency 1 amp IM or IV 3 times/wk. After 2 mth, 1 amp at 1-3 mth intervals as maintenance.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Special Precautions
Inj: Avoid repeated inj at the same site. Neonates, infants & childn. Avoid course of nerves for the site of inj.
Adverse Reactions
Anorexia, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, rash, pain & induration at inj site. Rarely, headache, sweating, hot sensation, skin eruptions.

B03BA05 - mecobalamin ; Belongs to the class of vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin and analogues). Used in the treatment of anemia.
