Indications/Uses
Infections caused by midecamycin-susceptible strains of Staph, Strep, Pneumococci & Mycoplasma pneumoniae ie, skin, mammary gland, lymph nodes, throat, ear, resp tracts, GUT, bones & synovial membranes infections.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 800-1,200 mg daily given in 3-4 equally divided doses.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Special Precautions
Discontinue if symptoms of hypersensitivity occur.
Adverse Reactions
Anorexia, nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort & pain, abdominal pain, loose stool, diarrhea.
