Contents
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.
Description
Preservative: Benzalkonium chloride.
Indications/Uses
For temporary relief of discomfort due to dry eyes or minor irritations of the eyes from exposure to wind or sun.
To moisten hard contact lens.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill one or two drops in each eye (avoid dropper tip touching the eye) 2-3 times daily as needed.
Contraindications
Do not use if the patient is allergic to any of the ingredients.
Not to be used with soft contact lenses.
Warnings
For contact lens wearers, if the patient has experience of persistent discomfort or irritation, remove the lenses, stop using the product and consult a physician.
Special Precautions
Discard any remaining solution 1 month after first opening.
Do not use after expiry date.
Keep bottle closed after use, store below 25°C.
Never touch the dropper tip of the bottle on any surface including the eye, since this may contaminate the solution.
Consult an eye care professional before changing solutions and before using any eye medication with contact lenses.
Adverse Reactions
Opsil tears is very well tolerated by users though there have been some reports of burning or stinging, allergic reactions, and red eyes after instillation. If the patient notices any of these, discontinue use and consult a physician.
Caution For Usage
To open the bottle in the first time please follow this directions: 1. Open unscrew cap.
2. Remove blue plastic ring.
3. Screw the cap tightly to pierce the seal.
4. Ready to use.
5. Close cap tightly after use.
Storage
Store below 25°C.
