Indications/Uses
Temporary relief of burning, irritation & discomfort due to eye dryness or exposure to wind or sun. Protection against further irritation. Optive Fusion Lubrication & rewetting of contact lenses. Optive Fusion UD Hydrates eye surface for symptomatic relief of dryness, stinging, grittiness, or foreign body sensation caused by environmental factors. Relief of eye discomfort & visual symptoms caused by reduced blink frequency. Ocular lubricant to relieve dryness & discomfort following ocular surgery eg, LASIK.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed. Optive Fusion Lubrication & rewetting of contact lenses Apply 1 or 2 drops to each eye as needed w/ the contact lens on the eye. If desired, 1 or 2 drops may be placed on the contact lens before insertion.
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if eye pain, changes in vision, continued eye redness or irritation occur or if conditions worsen. May cause transient blurring of vision which may impair ability to drive or operate machines. Pregnancy & lactation. Ped patients. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Eye pain. Optive Fusion: Conjunctival staining. Optive Fusion UD: Eye irritation, conjunctival hyperaemia, foreign body sensation in eyes, eyelid erythema, blepharitis, abnormal eye sensation, blurred vision. Punctate & diffuse lamellar keratitis.
