Indications/Uses
Optive Temporary relief of burning, irritation & discomfort due to dryness of the eye or exposure to wind or sun. Protectant against further irritation. Optive UD Ocular lubricant in dry eye. Relief of dryness & discomfort following ocular surgery (eg, LASIK).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed.
Special Precautions
Administer concomitant ocular medications at least 5 min apart. Discontinue if eye pain, vision changes, continued eye redness or irritation occurs, or if condition worsens or persists for >72 hr. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery by transient blurred vision. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Conjunctival/ocular hyperemia, dry eye, eye pain & pruritus, eyelid erythema, blurred vision. Optive UD Punctate keratitis, halo vision, conjunctival hemorrhage, glare, foreign body sensation in eyes, photophobia, astigmatism, corneal disorder.
