Perskindol Classic Spray/Gel/Fluid: Menthol, pine needle oil, orange oil, wintergreen oil, lemon oil, bergamot oil (without furocumarin), rosemary oil, lavender oil, terpineol, terpinyl acetate.
Perskindol Cool Gel/Spray: L-menthol.
Perskindol Classic: Gel, Fluid and Spray contain the following active ingredients: Menthol 1.5%, Pine Needle Oil 1.35%, Orange Oil 0.4%, Wintergreen Oil 0.35%, Lemon Oil 0.1%, Bergamot Oil (without furocumarin) 0.1%, Rosemary Oil 0.06%, Lavender Oil 0.02%, Terpineol 0.1%, Terpenyl Acetate 0.1%. Preservative: Benzyl benzoate. Gel contains additionally Methyl and Propyl Parabene. Propellant in the Spray: Propane/Butane.
Perskindol Cool: Gel and Spray contain the following active ingredient: Gel: L-Menthol 7%; Spray: L-Menthol 0.5%. Propellant: Propane/Butane, Dimethylether.
The products are rapidly absorbed by the skin without leaving any residue. They are non-greasy and do not stain hands and clothes.
Perskindol Classic: PERSKINDOL Classic first provides pleasant cooling sensation which then gives way to penetrating warmth.
Perskindol Classic: The products are applied externally for the temporary relief from minor aches and pains in muscles and joints associated with arthritis, stiff neck, backache, sports injuries, tennis elbow, sprains and bruises.
Perskindol Cool: The products are applied externally for an effective cold therapy. Because of its cooling property, PERSKINDOL Cool is effective in relieving muscles aches and pains and in decreasing the swelling after sports injuries such as sprains, bruises, muscle strains, contusions.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Perskindol Classic: Apply PERSKINDOL Classic 3 to 4 times daily to affected area. if used in conjunction with a compress, use only air-permeable material.
Perskindol Cool: Gel: Gently massage in a thin layer onto affected area several times a day. if used in conjunction with a compress, use only air-permeable material.
Spray: Apply to affected area by pressing the valve several times in short intervals. Observe a minimum distance of 15 cm.
PERSKINDOL Classic/Cool should not be applied to mucous membranes and open wounds. It should also not be applied to children under the age of 4 years. PERSKINDOL Classic/Cool should not be used by patients with a known hyper-sensitivity to any of the active ingredients and to patients with asthma (Perskindol Cool only).
Special Precautions
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Use In Pregnancy & Lactation
No negative effects are known to occur from the ingredients in PERSKINDOL Classic/Cool when applied externally. However, patients should consult their physician before applying PERSKINDOL Classic/Cool during pregnancy or when breast feeding.
Side Effects
The use of PERSKINDOL Classic/Cool has so far shown no side effects. The occurrence of a light reddish skin may occasionally happen and is harmless.
PERSKINDOL Classic/Cool is best stored below 30°C.
