Indications/Uses
K deficiency.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1-3 g daily.
Contraindications
Severe renal impairment. Hyperkalaemia, untreated Addison's disease, GI ulceration or obstruction.
Special Precautions
Cardiac disease; acute dehydration. Renal or adrenal insufficiency. Heat cramps.
Adverse Reactions
GI disturbances.
Drug Interactions
K-sparing diuretics. Cardiac glycosides.
