Indications/Uses
Alopecia androgenetica.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply 1 mL bid.
Contraindications
Pregnancy; lactation.
Special Precautions
Burning & irritation of the eye. Avoid contact w/ abraded skin, eye & mucous membranes.
Adverse Reactions
Scaling, dry skin, burning sensation, rash, flushing, dermatitis, hypertrichosis. Dizziness, tingling reaction, headache; weakness; neuritis; edema; eye irritation, altered taste, eye infection, visual disturbances. Rarely, alopecia, hair abnormalities, chest pain, BP changes, hepatitis, kidney calculi.
Drug Interactions
Potentiates orthostatic hypotension in patients concurrently taking guanethidine.
