Indications/Uses
OA & RA.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 2 tab as single dose at bedtime. Severe or persistent symptoms, acute exacerbation Additional 1-2 tab may be given as a morning dose. Elderly Max: 2 tab/day.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: May be taken w/ meals to reduce GI distress. Swallow whole, do not chew.
Contraindications
Active peptic ulcer, severe hepatic impairment.
Special Precautions
Aspirin hypersensitivity, history of peptic ulcer. Renal & hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, constipation, abdominal pain, flatulence, headache, dizziness, pruritus, rash & sedation.
Drug Interactions
Oral anticoagulants, hydantoin, anticonvulsants, sulfonylurea.
