Terbutaline sulfate, glyceryl guaiacolate.
Each 5 ml contains Terbutaline sulfate 1.5 mg, Glyceryl guaiacolate 66.5 mg.
Terbutaline sulfate is a sympathomimetic agent. It has adrenergic β-Receptor stimulating properties and affects selectively mainly the β2-receptors of the bronchial muscles. It can also significantly reduce the cough in patients with chronic cough as the only symptom.
Glyceryl guaiacolate is an expectorating agent.
Relief of bronchial asthma, bronchitis and emphysema for bronchodilation.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adults: 2-3 teaspoonfuls, 2-3 times daily.
Children 7-15 years: 1-2 teaspoonfuls, 2-3 times daily.
Children 3-6 years: ½-1 teaspoonful, 2-3 times daily.
Children less than 3 years: ½ teaspoonful, 2-3 times daily.
Special Precautions
Caution should be observed in the use of Terbu Expectorant in patients with thyrotoxicosis.

R03CC03 - terbutaline ; Belongs to the class of adrenergics for systemic use, selective beta-2-adrenoreceptor agonists. Used in the treatment of obstructive airway diseases.
