Dosage/Direction for Use
Trichomoniasis of the GUT 2 g as single dose. Concurrent treatment of sexual partner required. Giardiasis 4 tab as single dose. Amoebiasis 4 tab as single dose for 3 days.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take during or immediately after meals.
Contraindications
Blood dyscrasias. Active CNS disease.
Special Precautions
1st trimester of pregnancy, lactation.
Adverse Reactions
GI disturbances, anorexia; coated tongue, dry mouth, unpleasant taste, headache, pruritus, skin rash. Rarely, vomiting, diarrhea, neurologic effects, urethral discomfort & darkening of urine. Leukopenia. Peripheral neuropathy.
Drug Interactions
Alcohol may provoke a disulfiram-like reaction. May enhance anticoagulant effect of warfarin.

P01AB02 - tinidazole ; Belongs to the class of nitroimidazole derivatives antiprotozoals. Used in the treatment amoebiasis and other protozoal diseases.
