Tramadol HCl
Indications/Uses
Moderate to severe acute or chronic pain.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & adolescents >14 yr Cap 1 cap. IM/IV inj 1 amp (100 mg).
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Alcohol, hypnotics, analgesic agent or CNS action drugs. Patients receiving MAOIs.
Special Precautions
May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Sweating, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth & fatigue. Including palpitations, postural hypotension or CV collapse. In some cases, convulsions may have been observed.
Drug Interactions
SSRIs, TCAs, coumarin derivatives, carbamazepine, pentazocine, nalbuphine or buprenorphine, ondansetron, CYP3A4 inhibitors.
