Contents
K iodide 0.196 mg (equiv to iodine 0.15 mg), Fe fumarate 185 mg (equiv to ferrous 60.81 mg), folic acid 0.4 mg
Indications/Uses
Prophylaxis of iodine, folate & ferrous deficiency.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 tab once daily.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to iodine, Fe, or folic.
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if skin red lesion, abdominal pain, vomiting or dyspnea occurs. May mask symptoms of anemia caused by vit B12 deficiency, iodine & Fe. Do not use dose higher than recommended.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea & vomiting, heartburn, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, melena. Loss of appetite, abdominal pain, fever, weakness.
Drug Interactions
Antacid, bile acid-binding resins (eg, cholestyramine), tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, ACE inhibitors, carbidopa, levodopa, levothyroxine, OCs.
