Indications/Uses
Acute severe pain, RA, ankylosing spondylitis, OA, spondylarthritis, non-articular rheumatism, acute gout, painful post-traumatic & post-op pain & inflammation.
Dosage/Direction for Use
75 mg/day for max 2 days.
Contraindications
Peptic ulcer. Hypersensitivity to NSAIDs.
Special Precautions
History of or preexisting peptic ulcer, renal failure, elderly, pregnancy, bleeding disorders, CV disease.
Adverse Reactions
GI disturbances & bleeding, peptic ulcer, headache, dizziness, nervousness; skin rash, pruritus, tinnitus, edema; drowsiness. Hypersensitivity. Liver & kidney impairment. Agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia.
Drug Interactions
Lithium, digoxin, K-sparing diuretics & methotrexate.
