Indications/Uses
Relief of bronchospasm.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >12 yr 1-2 tab tid-qid.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1 hr before or 2 hr after meals.
Special Precautions
Hyperthyroidism, CV disease, aneurysm; DM, closed-angle glaucoma. Patients receiving antihypertensives or using halogenated anesth.
Adverse Reactions
Fine tremor of skeletal muscle especially hands, palpitations & muscle cramps.
Drug Interactions
Effects antagonized by propranolol & other β-blockers & enhanced by xanthines.

R03CC02 - salbutamol ; Belongs to the class of adrenergics for systemic use, selective beta-2-adrenoreceptor agonists. Used in the treatment of obstructive airway diseases.
