Pharmacology: Pharmacodynamics: Antivertigo

Pharmacokinetics: Tablet: Following oral administration, the peak of plasma Acetylleucine concentration is reached after approximately 2 hours.

observed with a very rapid distribution phase (mean half-life of 0.11 hours)
and a rapid elimination phase (mean half-life of 1.08 hours).
Tablet: This medicine is recommended in the treatment of dizziness.
Injection: This medicine is
recommended for the symptomatic treatment of vertigo attacks.
Tablet: Adults: 1.5 to 2 g daily: 3 to 4 tablets to be taken as two divided doses, in the morning and in the evening.
At the beginning of the treatment or if there is no improvement, the dosage may be increased up to 3 g to 4 g (6 to 8 tablets) per day.
Route of administration: oral route. The tablets must be swallowed with water.
Treatment duration: the duration of treatment is variable according to the clinical progress (between 10 days and 5 to 6 weeks).
Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Injection: Adults: 2 ampoules per day (up to 4 if necessary) for direct intravenous injection.

This medicine contains wheat starch but it can be administered to patients suffering from coeliac disease. As wheat starch may contain very small amount of gluten, this medicine is considered like safe for subjects with coeliac disease.
