Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)
Within 1 month after an initial period of observation or treatment, the patient is evaluated for symptom resolution or treatment failure due to the persistence of BPPV, or there is a presence of underlying peripheral vestibular or central nervous system disorders to confirm symptom resolution. The patient should be counseled at the start of treatment regarding the importance of follow-up.
