Fusidic acid, betamethasone valerate (micronised)
Indications/Uses
Inflammatory dermatoses (including atopic, discoid &/or stasis eczema, seborrhoeic &/or contact dermatitis, lichen simplex chronicus, psoriasis, discoid lupus erythematosus).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply sparingly to affected area bd-tds.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Viral, tuberculous & fungal skin infections; perioral dermatitis, acne rosacea, ulcerative condition. Pregnancy & lactation.
Special Precautions
May cause glaucoma if applied to the eye. Do not use >7 days.
Adverse Reactions
Local atropic changes in the skin eg, striae, thinning & dilatation of the superficial blood vessels. May cause hypercorticism/adrenal suppression w/ prolonged use. Hypercorticism/adrenal suppression.
