Higher processed meat intake ups risk of mortality, CVD

Consumption of unprocessed red meat and poultry does not predict mortality or major cardiovascular disease (CVD), but a higher intake of processed meat is a risk factor for increased mortality and major CVD, according to the results of a large multinational prospective study.

Indications/Uses : Advanced prostate cancer in combination w/ luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) analogue therapy or surgical castration. Monotherapy or as adjuvant to radical prostatectomy or radiotherapy in patients w/ locally advanced prostate cancer at high risk for disease progression.
Indications/Uses : Symptoms of seasonal or allergic perennial allergic rhinitis in adult & childn 12 yr. Symptoms of seasonal allergic or perennial allergic rhinitis in childn 6-11 yr. Nasal polyps in adult ≥18 yr.
