Should be taken with food: May be taken w/ food or milk to reduce GI discomfort.
Severe or active peptic ulceration. Severe heart failure; treatment of peri-operative pain in CABG surgery. History of GI bleeding or perforation related to previous NSAIDs therapy; active or history of recurrent peptic ulcer/haemorrhage.
Hypersensitivity to salicylates. Gastric ulceration; allergic disorder particularly asthma. Increased risk of serious CV thrombotic event, MI & stroke; GI adverse events eg, bleeding, ulceration & perforation. Should not be used in patients w/ revascularization procedures. Risk of renal papillary necrosis & other renal injury upon long-term administration. Not recommended in patients w/ advanced renal disease. Co-administration w/ diuretics & ACE inhibitors; other NSAIDs. Renal & hepatic impairment. Pregnancy. Elderly.
