Cough suppressant

Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult: PO 25 mg 3-4 times/day.

Special Precautions
Not indicated for use in productive cough with presence of mucus or phlegm. May cause drowsiness; caution when driving or operating machinery.

Adverse Reactions
Drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth.
|
Drug Interactions
May enhance effects of alcohol, CNS depressants (e.g. antihistamines, sedatives, tranquilizers, barbiturates, narcotic analgesics, and anaesthetics) and CNS stimulants such as appetite suppressants and caffeinated beverages.
