Indications/Uses
Relief of sneezing & nasal congestion due to common colds.

Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >12 yr 10 mL. Childn 6-12 yr 5 mL, 2-5 yr 2.5 mL. All doses to be taken 3 times daily.

Contraindications
Patients sensitive to sympathomimetics & receiving MAOIs, severe HTN or w/ potentiality to develop HTN or stroke.

Special Precautions
Liver & kidney dysfunction, glaucoma, prostate hypertrophy, hyperthyroidism, urinary retention, heart disorders, DM. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <2 yr.

Adverse Reactions
Insomnia, headache, excitation, tremor, tachycardia, arrhythmia, palpitation, difficulty in urination, GI disturbances. Chlorpheniramine maleate: Drowsiness, dry mouth.
Drug Interactions
Centrally acting drugs eg, sympathomimetics, antidepressants, MAOIs.
