Indications/Uses
Cream: Topical treatment of secondarily infected traumatic lesions eg, small lacerations, sutured wounds or abrasions. Oint: Bacterial skin infections eg, impetigo, folliculitis & furunculosis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Cream Adult including elderly & childn Apply to affected area tds for up to 10 days. Oint Adult & childn Apply to affected area bd-tds for up to 10 days.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Not for ophth or intranasal use. Discontinue use if possible sensitization reaction or severe local irritation occurs. Pseudomembranous colitis. Overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms. Prolonged use. Avoid contact w/ eyes. Pregnancy. Oint: Not to be used in conjunction w/ cannulae & at central venous cannulation site. Moderate or severe renal impairment.
Adverse Reactions
Cream: Cutaneous hypersensitivity reactions. Oint: Localised burning.
