Indications/Uses
Spasmodic pains associated w/ gastritis, enteritis, gastric ulcer, cholelithiasis & cholecystopathy (including cholecystitis, cholecystic & biliary dyskinesia).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Glaucoma, impaired urination due to prostatomegaly, severe heart disease, paralytic ileus, pyloric stenosis.
Special Precautions
Prostatomegaly, CHF, arrhythmia, ulcerative colitis, hyperthyroidism. High environmental temp. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Occasionally, impaired ocular accommodation; dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, constipation; impaired urination; headache, drowsiness, dizziness; tachycardia, hypotension; flushing or face redness.
Drug Interactions
Intensified action by TCAs, phenothiazines, MAOIs, antihistamines.
