Betamethasone dipropionate 0.05%, gentamicin sulfate 0.1%
Indications/Uses
Relief of inflammatory dermatoses complicated by or when bacterial infection is suspected.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply bd or less frequently to affected areas.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Vaccinia, varicella & skin TB.
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if irritation, sensitization or superinfection develops. Cross-allergenicity among aminoglycosides. Not for ophth use. Not for use under occlusive dressing. Visual disturbance. Adrenal suppression. Presence of dermal disruption. Not to be used in large amounts or prolonged periods during pregnancy. Lactation. Long-term use in infants & childn.
Adverse Reactions
Burning, itching, irritation, dryness, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acneiform eruption, hypopigmentation, perioral & allergic contact dermatitis, skin maceration & atrophy, secondary infection, striae, miliaria.
