Adult
Initially 15-45 mL. Maintenance: 15-30 mL.
Childn 7-14 yr
Initially 15 mL. Maintenance: 10-15 mL;
1-6 yr
Initially 5-10 mL. Maintenance: 5-10 mL.
Infant <1 yr
Initially 5 mL. Maintenance: 5 mL.
Precoma & coma hepaticum
Adult
Initially 30-45 mL tds-qds. Maintenance: Dose adjustment for soft stools production bd-tds.

Administration
Should be taken with food: Take at the same time each day, preferably at breakfast. May be taken diluted or undiluted.
Contraindications
Galactosaemia, GI obstruction.

Diabetics. Disturbed fecal retention abilities & exoneration reflex. Lactose intolerance, galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Pregnancy.
