Indications/Uses
RA, OA & ankylosing spondylitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
7.5 mg once daily. Max: 15 mg/day.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to aspirin or other NSAIDs. Asthma, urticaria, acute rhinitis, active peptic ulceration, severe hepatic & renal failure.
Special Precautions
Peptic ulcer, CHF, liver cirrhosis, overt renal disease & nephrotic syndrome.
Adverse Reactions
Dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, pruritus, skin rash, headache, edema, esophagitis, GI ulcer, urticaria, photosensitization, acute asthma, increased BP, palpitation, vertigo, drowsiness.
Drug Interactions
Ticlopidine, oral anticoagulants, heparin, lithium, thrombolytics, methotrexate, diuretics, antihypertensives, cholestyramine, cyclosporin.
