10-40 mg daily. HTN Mild: Initially 10 mg/day. Moderate or severe: 20 mg/day. Concomitant diuretic therapy in HTN Discontinue diuretic 2-3 days prior to initiation of therapy w/ Nalopril. CHF Initially <5 mg. Usual maintenance dose: 10-20 mg daily in a single or divided dose.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Special Precautions
Symptomatic hypotension may occur. In patients w/ renal impairment or renal artery stenosis, low doses may be required. Pregnancy. Lactation. Childn.
