Contents
Per g Lidocaine HCl 5%, hydrocortisone acetate 0.25%
Indications/Uses
Acute internal & external hemorrhoids; anal fissure; proctitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply thinly onto affected area 2-4 times daily.
Contraindications
Skin TB, viral & fungal infection on the affected area.
Special Precautions
Avoid abrupt w/drawal, gradually discontinue treatment, but to prevent recurrence, treatment should be continued for at least 1 wk. Avoid prolonged use of >4 wk. Discontinue if rectal irritation or bleeding occurs. Lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Local skin atrophy (in prolonged use >4 wk), allergic reactions (very rare); urticaria, edema, anaphylactoid reactions.
