Olopatadine
Indications/Uses
Ocular itching associated w/ allergic conjunctivitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 drop in each affected eye once daily.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Not for inj or oral use. Not for the treatment of contact lens related irritation. Do not wear contact lens if eye is red. Contact lenses should be worn at least 15 min after instillation. Allow 5 min interval in case of concomitant therapy w/ other topical ocular medicines w/ eye oint administered last. Avoid contact w/ soft contact lenses. Contains benzalkonium Cl which may cause punctate keratopathy &/or toxic ulcerative keratopathy, eye irritation & discolour soft contact lenses. Closely monitor in frequent or prolonged use in dry eye patients or in compromised cornea. Temporary blurred vision or other visual disturbances may affect the ability to drive or use machines. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Dysgeusia; dry eye, blurred vision, abnormal eye sensation.
